Air Cooled or Water Cooled?
Air cooled needs no tower, no water treatment and no make-up supply, but loses capacity as ambient temperature rises — a real problem above 40C. Water cooled holds capacity regardless of air temperature and can sit indoors, at the cost of a cooling tower or process water loop. In practice: outdoor space plus temperate climate favours air cooled; indoor plant room or hot region favours water cooled.
