Privacy Policy

This policy describes what hvacrnexus.com collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to ask us to delete it. It describes what the site actually does — not a generic template.

HVACR Nexus operates hvacrnexus.com, a sourcing directory for HVAC and refrigeration equipment. For questions about this policy or about data we hold, contact sales@longwellfans.com.

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, and optionally a phone or WhatsApp number, your country, an indicative order quantity, and a description of your requirement. Providing this is voluntary; without at least a name, an email address and a requirement we cannot respond.

Submitted with each enquiry, we also record technical context that helps us answer it properly and understand which pages generate genuine enquiries:

• the product or page the enquiry was sent from;
• the page on which you first arrived at the site, and the referring website or campaign, if any;
• the date and time of submission.

The first-arrival and referrer values are held in your browser’s local storage so that they survive between visits — buyers commonly find a product one day and enquire days later. Clearing your browser storage removes them.

• Product page views. We count how many times each product page is viewed so that we can show buyers which equipment is most looked at. The count is per product, not per person: no identifier is stored against it, and we cannot tell from it who viewed what. A marker in your browser session prevents one visit being counted repeatedly.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics, via Google Site Kit, to understand traffic sources and which pages are useful. Google sets its own cookies and processes this data as an independent controller under its own terms.
• Translation. Pages can be viewed in other languages through GTranslate, which loads resources from its own servers and may set a cookie recording your language choice.
• Site operation. Standard cookies used by WordPress and WooCommerce for session handling and security, and server access logs recording IP address, request and user agent, which we use for security and troubleshooting.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build behavioural profiles of visitors.

Where you send an enquiry, we process your details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Analytics and site-operation data are processed in our legitimate interest in running and improving the site securely. Where consent is required in your jurisdiction for non-essential cookies, it is asked for separately and can be withdrawn.

The purpose of an enquiry is to obtain a quotation, so your requirement — and the contact details needed to answer it — may be passed to the manufacturer or supplier of the product concerned. Those companies are independent businesses and handle your details under their own policies.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf: our hosting provider, and Aliyun Enterprise Mail for sending and receiving email. We do not sell contact data, and we do not add enquirers to unrelated marketing lists.

Our servers and email service are located in and operated from China, so information you send is processed there. Where required, transfers are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards.

Enquiries and related correspondence are retained while a commercial relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted. Aggregate page-view counts and analytics data contain no personal identifiers and are retained indefinitely. Server logs are rotated regularly.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email sales@longwellfans.com with enough detail to identify your enquiry — normally the email address you used. We respond within one month. There is no charge.

This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date below. Please check it when you next send an enquiry.
