Picking the Right Format

Misting fans only make sense outdoors or in well-ventilated spaces, where added humidity disperses — they also knock airborne dust out of suspension, which is often the real reason to buy one. Drum and floor fans deliver high velocity at floor level where people actually are, which is what makes them effective in warehouses that ceiling fans barely touch. Check the housing material: aluminium survives site handling that moulded plastic does not.
