The Dual Rotary Evaporative Heat Recovery Air Handling Unit (AHU) is a high-efficiency HVAC solution that combines advanced heat recovery technology with full air handling functions. By integrating dual rotary heat exchangers and evaporative heat exchange technology, the unit effectively recovers energy from exhaust air and reduces cooling and heating load of the entire HVAC system

The AHU adopts two rotary heat exchangers installed between the fresh air and exhaust air streams. Exhaust air transfers heat and moisture to the incoming fresh air through the rotary wheels.
The heat-recovery unit re-uses the air from the building to warm or cool new fresh air. A typical unit features two fans, one to reuse the building air (Return Fan), and the other to bring in fresh air (Supply Fan). What makes a heat recovery unit unique is the heat-exchange core. The core transfers heat from the outgoing stream to the incoming stream in the same way that the radiator in your car transfers heat from the engine's coolant to the outside air.
