The air-cooled box-type chiller operates through a closed-loop refrigeration cycle. Hot water from external equipment is pumped into the evaporator, where it is cooled by refrigerant flowing through separate tubes. The cooled water returns to the machinery,while the refrigerant absorbs heat and vaporizes.
The vaporized refrigerant is compressed into a high-temperature, high-pressure state and sent to the condenser. Fans dissipate the heat into the surrounding air, causing the refrigerant to condense into a liquid. It then passes through an expansion valve,forming a liquid-vapor mixture that re-enters the evaporator to repeat the cycle.
