Product Details

Glass reinforced plastic cooling tower is a heat dissipation device that uses the evaporative cooling process to transfer waste heat to the atmosphere. The waste heat enters the cooling tower as warm water and is pumped to the water distribution system above the cooling medium. The water is then dispersed downwards through the tower while air is drawn into the tower. The mixing of air and water vaporizes a small portion of the water, taking its heat with it. This heat is transferred to the air, which is drawn from the top of the tower and expelled into the atmosphere. The resulting cold water is then recirculated back through a heat source in a continuous cycle. There are two types of cooling towers: cross-flow and counter-flow.
