An ice tube maker
An ice tube maker is a type of ice maker. It is named so because the ice blocks it produces have irregular lengths and are in the shape of hollow tubes. The pipe ice maker mainly consists of components such as an evaporator, a condenser, a water storage tank, a compressor, and a refrigerant storage tank. Among these, the evaporator has the most complex structure and the highest precision requirements and production difficulty. After the refrigeration system operates, the water in the lower water tank is transported by a water pump to the upper water tank. It flows spirally downward along the inner wall of the heat exchange tube through the water divider, undergoes heat exchange with the refrigerant outside the tube, and some of the water forms tube-shaped ice strips. The uniced water returns to the lower water tank for circulation. When the thickness of the pipe ice reaches the required level, the water stops circulating. The refrigeration system then switches to the de-icing mode. The hot refrigerant gas causes the part of the pipe ice in contact with the inner wall of the heat exchange tube to melt. The pipe ice, due to gravity, falls into the cutting mechanism and is cut into the specified size of pipe ice.
