Wide-voltage dual-channel four-wire PWM fan digital display temperature control controller!
Note: This is a four-wire PWM fan controller. It can only control fans that comply with Intel's four-wire fan specification (the
vast majority of 12-48V four-wire fans are supported), and cannot control 2-3 wire fans or turn off fans.
Warning!! Although the controller can operate within the range of 8 to 60V, the actual power supply voltage must match the working voltage of the fan.
For instance, to control a 12V fan, a 12V power supply must be used. Selecting the wrong power supply may burn
out the fan and simultaneously damage the control board!!
It is equipped with a reverse timing fan control mode. When you find that the fan speed decreases as the temperature rises under normal use, you can switch the mode. For more details, please refer to the user manual later!
The thermal probe used in this controller is of the NTC10K3950 type.



Controller features:
1. Wide operating voltage range of DC8-60V (This means that the control board can operate within this voltage range. In actual work, the controller power supply and the fan are together, so the power supply must be in accordance with the fan power supply requirements; otherwise, the fan will be damaged).
2. Dual-channel independent temperature control, alternately displaying the temperatures of the two channels (-9.9℃ to 70.1℃, with an error of less than 1℃) and fan speed (resolution of 10 RPM, display up to 999*10 RPM, display 999 when the speed is higher than this).
3. The low speed of the fan and the temperature control zone are both set through buttons, offering flexible control and a wide setting range. After setting, the program is saved.
4. The stop alarm function of the switch can be set (when the external AC buzzer sounds continuously, it is off by default).


Performance parameters:
Working voltage: DC8-60V (It must be equal to the fan voltage. If you use a 12V fan but supply 24V, the fan will be burned out.)

Control capability: Not limited by fan current, but the current of the fan interface pins on the board should not exceed 3A
current. If using a fan with a larger current, please directly connect the fan power cord to the main power supply!

Rotational speed measurement: 10-9990 rpm. If the rotational speed exceeds this range, 999 will always be displayed. The
resolution is 10 rpm, and the display unit is *10 rpm. (The rotational speed measurement is designed based on the common 2-pole signal fan, and the vast majority of fans are 2-pole signal fans.)
Stop alarm speed: below 375rpm

Wiring instructions:
Connect the blue screw terminal to the main power supply (the power supply voltage is equivalent to the voltage of the fan in use and within the range of 8-60V). Please note that the positive and negative polarities should not be connected incorrectly. The two 4P sockets, "Channel 1" and "Channel 2", are connected to the fan. The wiring sequence is power negative, power positive, speed feedback, and PWM control (for details, please refer to the wiring diagram below). "Thermistor 1" and "Thermistor 2" are connected to NTC thermistors (with parameters of 10K B=3950), and the temperature is measured respectively by the temperature control of the two-channel fans. The "Buzzer" socket is connected to the AC buzzer. When the stop alarm is turned on, the buzzer will sound continuously when the fan stops rotating.


Wiring precautions:
The allowable current of a single fan interface is 3A. If you need to control a fan with a higher current, please directly connect the fan power cord to the main power supply (the controller's control capability is not related to the fan current, but the current passing capacity of the power supply wire needs to be considered).

Display instructions:
The control panel displays the values through digital tubes. The four leds on the right side of the digital tube indicate the
current value meaning of the digital tube. The first two leds in the first row respectively represent the temperature and speed (x10rpm) of channel one, and the two leds in the second row respectively represent the temperature and speed (x10rpm) of channel two. Under normal working conditions, the four values will be displayed in turn in sequence. You can manually and quickly switch the values at any time by pressing the "+" and "-" keys. After manual switching, the values will remain at this value for a relatively long time before entering the rotation display state. The display of Channel Two can be blocked as needed.




Setting instructions:
1. Base speed setting: The base speed setting is used to adjust the fan speed before the temperature control starts, that is, the fan speed when it is lower than the acceleration temperature. The setting method is as follows: Press the "OK" button in any operating state. At this time, the two leds in the horizontal direction of Channel one will light up simultaneously, and the digital tube will display the current set value (between 10 and 100). Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the size. Long press the buttons to quickly and continuously modify. After setting, press the "OK" button to enter the basic speed setting of Channel two. After setting it up in the same way, press the "OK" button again to save and exit.
2. Temperature control zone and stop alarm Settings: Under normal operation, press and hold the "OK" button until L** (**
represents the value) is displayed, then release the button. The two leds on the horizontal side of channel one will light up
simultaneously, indicating that it is currently in the acceleration temperature setting state of Channel one. Set this value
(range 5-94, unit: degrees Celsius) through the "+" and "-" buttons. After the Settings are completed, press the "OK" button once to enter the full-speed temperature setting state of Channel one, which will be displayed as "H**". Set the amount in the same way (range 10-99, unit: degrees Celsius). After the Settings are completed, press the "OK" button to enter the channel stop alarm setting. Press the "+" and "-" buttons for setting. "boF" indicates to turn off the stop alarm of this channel, and "bon" indicates to turn on the stop alarm of this channel. After the Settings are completed, press the "OK" button to enter the value setting of Channel Two. The sequence and setting method are the same as those of Channel One… . After the above Settings are completed, press the "OK" button to exit and save the parameters.
3. Display shielding setting for Channel Two: When the control panel is powered off, hold down the "OK" key and keep it in the held state to power on. The digital tube will display "2on" (Channel two display) or "2oF" (Channel two display). Release the "OK" key and set the switch shielding through the "+" and "-" keys. After setting, press the "OK" key again to exit and enter the normal working state.
4. Normal and reverse timing mode switching: Without connecting the fan, when the controller is not powered on, simultaneously hold down (note that it should be held down) the "+" and "-" keys to power the controller. At this point, the controller enters the mode selection state. Release the keys and click the "+" or "-" keys again to switch the mode: Display "F-1" as the normal mode and "F-2" as the reverse timing mode. After making the modifications, click the "OK" button to exit (the Settings will be automatically saved when exiting).


Setting notes:
When the speed and temperature zone are set, if no operation is performed within 15 seconds, it will automatically exit and no data will be saved.When setting the temperature zone, the full-speed temperature of the same channel must be at least 5 degrees Celsius higher than the acceleration temperature. If a temperature value is set and this condition cannot be met, the controller will automatically adjust another temperature value to ensure that the difference is not less than 5 degrees Celsius. This automatic adjustment is unidirectional. If a callback is needed, the other temperature value needs to be manually adjusted.
3. The shielding display setting of Channel two only affects the data display of the working status. The control and parameter Settings of Channel Two are not affected, and it operates normally.




Frequently Asked Questions:
1. No display when powered on
Voltage NOT APPROPRIATE, POWER SUPPLY REVERSE —- CONTROLLER CAN OPERATE UNDER DC8-60V INPUT, please MAKE power supply voltage and polarity CORRECT (note power supply voltage should be consistent with fan voltage).
2. The temperature display always shows -9.9℃, but the actual temperature is not that low or there is a significant difference between the displayed temperature and the actual temperature.
Corresponding channel PROBE NOT CONNECTED, PROBE Poor CONTACT or DAMAGE, PROBE parameters INCORRECT —- CHECK PROBE.
3. The fan doesn't rotate
Fan wire sequence WRONG —- PLEASE pay attention to FAN wire sequence power cord.
Some FANS WILL STOP WHEN the PWM value is lower than 20 —- ADJUST the speed of the manual speed.
4. The fan is running at full speed and cannot be controlled. The speed is not displayed
Fan wire sequence WRONG (TACHometer wire and control wire reversed) —- SWAP FAN CONTROL WIRE and Tachometer wire (two wires other than power wire).
Fan UNCONVENTIONAL PWM FAN, COUNTERFEIT OR FAULTY FAN —- Replace fan
5. The fan can be controlled normally, but the rotational speed is not displayed
Fan speed measurement line (third line) is NOT reliably connected —- Check the wiring
Fan HAS NO TACHometer signal OR FAN TACHometer output port is faulty —- Replace with another fan or ignore TACHometer display
6. The fan speed changes in the opposite direction
The fan is an anti-timing fan. Refer to item 4 of the Settings instructions forward and modify the controller operation mode.
