Quote the original part number wherever you have it; refrigeration components are dimensionally specific and a nominal equivalent often will not fit the existing pipework. Confirm the refrigerant compatibility — components rated for R22 are not automatically suitable for R404A or the newer low-GWP blends, and elastomer seals in particular are refrigerant-specific. Check connection type: flare, solder or rotalock all differ.
