The entire duct is an air diffuser
In a fabric air dispersion system the fabric ducts distribute air along the entire length of the duct at the desired angle. The full length even air distribution is a standard feature of fabric air dispersion systems and does not come with a significant price premium, which is the case when using conventional metal ducts. The full length distribution comes in two varieties: Linear Flow Models (LFM) and Surface Flow Models (SFM). These two methods can be co-specified as needed. For example, a swimming pool would require a permeable fabric to avoid condensation; an SFM. It would also require a type of LFM,, to wash the perimeter surfaces.

Full length air dispersion is enabled through permeable fabrics and directional perforations in the surface of the ducts. This creates uniform, draft-free and condensation-free air distribution throughout the entire space, regardless of system complexity.

Metal ducts need grills and diffusers, which results in highly complicated installations and higher energy consumption. These additional fittings often cause uneven air distribution and add to the expense, space requirements, man hours, etc. of the project. Such uneven air distribution is a major cause for uncomfortable and unhygienic work environments as they lead to draft and condensation problems.
