Important Notes
1.Tum off breaker prior to installing the dimmer.
2.All wiring must be in accordance with all applicable National (NEC/CEC), state,and local codes.
3.Use copper wires only.
4.CAUTON: To avoid overheating and possible damage to other equipment, do not use to control receptacles, fluorescent lighting
fixtures, or transformer – supplied appliances.
5.Controls require separate wires in the wall box for fan and light.
6.Use these controls with a ceiling paddle fan only. Use only one ceiling paddle fan per control.
7.When no "ground means" exists within the wall box, then NEC 380-9 exception to (b) allows a control without a ground connection,
to be installed as a replacement For this type of installation, cap or remove the green control ground wire.
Notice:
1. It is not compatible with the built-in system of smart fans and is only suitable as a substitute for gear switches or stepless
speed control switches.
2. Since the fan requires a certain initial power to rotate, the rotary controller usually needs to be turned half a circle
before it takes effect. After the fan starts to rotate, the speed can be adjusted normally.
3. If it suddenly becomes smaller during rotation, it might be at the gap between gears. Please rotate it a little more then it
will work normally.
