A fan filter unit (FFU) is a type of motorized air filtering equipment. It is used to supply purified air to cleanrooms, laboratories, medical facilities or microenvironments by removing harmful airborne particles from recirculating air.
FFU Industry Fan
FFU (Fan Filter Unit) is a combination of a fan and filter, also known as a “fan-integrated filtration device.” It is a modular terminal air supply unit with its own power and filtration function. The fan draws air from the top of the FFU, passes it through a HEPA filter, and the filtered clean air is evenly discharged across the entire airflow surface at a velocity of 0.45 m/s ± 20%.
