The Air Cooled Condenser / Dry Cooler / Gas Cooler is an advanced cooling system featuring adiabatic pads. This innovative pre-cooling method enables the condenser to achieve outlet temperatures below ambient or significantly improve unit performance within the same footprint.
When dry operation fails to meet the set outlet or condensing temperature due to rising ambient temperatures, the pre-cooling system is triggered. This involves humidifying the upstream adiabatic pads. Depending on their design and the inlet air conditions, this process can cool the air by over 10 K before it reaches the heat exchanger.
