What is a spiral plate heat exchanger?
A spiral plate heat exchanger is a highly efficient heat exchange device. It consists of two plates, forming two uniform spiral channels. The two heat transfer media can flow in countercurrent, significantly enhancing the heat transfer effect. Even with a small temperature difference between the two media, ideal heat transfer can be achieved.
Type:
According to the structural form, it can be divided into non-detachable (type I) spiral plate heat exchanger and detachable (type II and type III) spiral plate heat exchanger.
Performance of different structures:
1. Type I is non-detachable, and the spiral channel end face is welded and sealed, with good sealing performance.
2. Type II is detachable, and its structural principle is basically the same as that of the non-detachable (Type I), but there is a channel that can be disassembled and cleaned. It is particularly suitable for heat exchange of viscous and precipitated liquids.
