This explosion proof centrifugal fan uses a cast iron impeller and a certified flameproof motor for extraction in atmospheres where a spark would be catastrophic — solvent handling, paint plant, grain processing and chemical storage. Cast iron is specified over steel because it will not throw a spark on contact with the housing if the shaft moves. Rated for medium temperature to 80C, on 380V, 415V or 440V three-phase, with OEM configuration accepted.
