Explosion Proof
Explosion proof and flameproof equipment is required wherever flammable vapour, gas or combustible dust may be present — chemical plant, paint shops, fuel stores, grain handling and battery rooms. Certification is not optional here, and a flameproof motor alone is not enough: the impeller must also be non-sparking.
